"Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength." (S.Freud)
Counselling is more than learning about your vulnerabilities; it is facing and working through them with someone who is there for you, in an impartial, non-judgemental and empathic way. The first step is yours... get in touch and discover how counselling will help you understand your vulnerabilities, uncover your strength, and experience a better, more fulfilling life.
About me
Having lived in three different countries in different stages of my life and raised a family here in the UK, I had to face my vulnerabilities, mostly on my own. Along the way, I also needed help working through them, especially during life changing events.
My passion has always been working closely with people, and making a positive difference in their life journey... one step at a time.
My special interest is working with individuals facing life changing events, like I did, which can result in depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, among many other symptoms. My professional experience will certainly provide me with tools to make a positive difference in your life as well.
I have an MSc in Psychotherapy and Counselling (University of London, Birkbeck College) and an MA in Child Development (University of London, IoE). I work in Central London, in Richmond and in Teddington/ Hampton; I also offer virtual sessions. Sessions may be in English, Portuguese or Spanish, and I accept most health insurances.
I am a fully accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BPC (British Psychotherapy Council).
I look forward to your contact for a preliminary meeting, so we can discuss how we can work through your issues... together!
